C. Allen Johnson

C. Allen Johnson, 85, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility in Glasgow, Ky.  He was born in Springhill, Tn. on April 10, 1933  to the late John Milton and Clara Allen Carl Johnson.  C. Allen was a mechanical engineer on a Navy military base, a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Pasadena, Ca.  He loved to read and build things.    He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Sharon Cardwell.

He is survived by his sons Kirby Johnson (Julia) and Charles Johnson of Hendersonville, Tn.; daughter Kim Johnson (Tim) of Hendersonville, Tn.; grandchildren Mary Beth Palvic of Chicago, Gracie, Jeremy and Matthew Johnson and Paul Kelton all of Hendersonville, Tn., Charles Brazil (Amanda) of Bowling Green; Rose Dodson of Morgantown; five great grandchildren.  

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, Jan. 6 at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 6 from 12pm until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
