Janice Maxine (Guffy) Combs

Janice Maxine Combs , 78, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on  Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Butler County, Ky. on January 1, 1940  to the late Ray and Loleta Moore Guffy.  Janice was a homemaker, a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church, loved to go to yard sales and help the less fortunate.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl S. Combs; grandsons Christopher Flener and Nathan Flener; sister Nadine Hart and brother Donald Guffy.

Janice is survived by her children Deborah Combs of Nashville, Tn. and Jason Combs (Sarah Rose Layton) of Charlotte, NC; siblings Judy Keown (Luchen), Larry Guffy (Joyce) all of Morgantown and Sue Bosse (Buddy) of Louisville; special friend Jerry Oaks; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, October 8 at 11am with Bro. Murl Gray officiating.   Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Garden.  Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 7 from 6-8pm and Monday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
