Mary "Ruthie" Ruth Henderson

Mary Ruth “Ruthie” Henderson, 64, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Morgantown, Ky. on Jan. 31, 1955 to the late Leamon Sr. and Ilean Howard Henderson.  Ruthie was owner/operator of CNH Enterprises. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Joe Hancock; son Jessie Benonie “JB” Hancock and sister Ramona Cardwell.  

She is survived by her daughter Joanna Lynn Hancock Skinner of Morgantown; grandchildren Samantha Scarbrough (Austin) of Central City, Melissa Skinner of Hartford and William Hancock of Morgantown; great granddaughter Artimis Scarbrough; brother Leamon Henderson Jr. (Patricia) of Morgantown; sisters Patricia Johnson (Carlie) of Georgia and Betty Jones of Morgantown; aunt JoAnn Weber of Louisville; several nieces, nephews cousins and lots of friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Swift officiating.  Burial will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.  Visitation will begin on Friday, Sept. 20 from 3pm-8pm and Saturday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
