Alford Phelps, Jr., 67, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence in Morgantown. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Sept. 10, 1953 to the late Alford Phelps, Sr. and Mae Renfrow Phelps. Alford retired from Emerson Electric. He was a Jehovah Witness and he loved to mow grass. Alford is preceded in death by his parents; sister Emma Faye Deweese; stepson Darrell Renfrow.
Alford is survived by his wife of 44 years Eunie Mae Deweese Phelps of Morgantown. Five children: Jerry Phelps of Morgantown. Dana Phelps of California. Quentin Phelps (Amy) of Morgantown. Stacy Lewis (Billy) of Morgantown, step-daughter Kathy Holland and step-son Larry Renfrow (Diana) both of Morgantown; Grandchildren; Tristin, Aiden and Isaac Phelps of Morgantown. Ethan and Eli Lewis of Morgantown. Brothers Sedrick Phelps (Sharon) of Morgantown. Paul Phelps (Devone) of Morgantown; brother-in-law Frank Deweese of Beattyville, Ky. and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at Hill Haven Memory Gardens on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 4pm at with Bro. Frank Deweese officiating.
