Barry T. Wilson, 62, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, July, 21, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Oct. 22, 1959 to the late Chalmer “Toy” and Diedra Lee Wilson. Barry was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and was a self-employed tradesman. His hobbies included classic cars, gardening, horses and being around his family and friends. Barry was known for his sense of humor and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Tim Wilson.
Barry is survived by his daughters Heather Daugherty (Davy) of Bowling Green, Hollie McDaniel (Todd) of Shepherdsville, Brittany Embry (Matt) and Brandy Parker (Gavin) all of Morgantown; grandchildren Drew Ragland (Kayla), Dawson Daugherty, Oaklie McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel, Zachary McDaniel, Harlie Embry, Cash Embry, Bryson Goodall and Gunner Parker; great grandchildren Raelynn, Laney, Ella, Jalen, Aniyah, Aiden and Eli; brother Leon Wilson (June) of Morgantown; nephews Kevin Wilson (Jill), Sterlyn Wilson and Ben Wilson (Tracy); several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Frankie Skipworth and Bro. Mark Hampton officiating. Burial will be held in the Flatwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23 from 4pm-8pm and on Sunday from 10am until time of service all at Smith Funeral Home.
