Bennie Mark Shepherd

Bennie Mark Shepherd, age 50, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on April 4, 1971 in Owensboro, Ky.  Bennie was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church, worked as an animal caretaker for Derrick and Sarah Embry, he loved to shoot pool, archery and fish.  He is preceded in death by his sister Sherra Wan Shepherd.

Bennie is survived by his parents William and Juanita Embry Shepherd of Morgantown; 

one brother Mike Shepherd (Karen) of Morgantown; two nieces Kourtney Wills (Danton) of Taylorsville, Ky., Morgan Dotson (Thadd) of Morgantown; great niece Alaura Wills,

great nephew Treyson Dotson and Macon Dotson.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at 1pm with Bro. Clinton White and Bro. Lawson Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Union Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 from 4-8pm and Friday from 8am until time of service.
