Bobby Joe Poole, age 80, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born on March 31, 1943 in Butler Co. Ky. to Jewell Merl and Dorothy Sublett Poole. Bobby was an oil rigger, tree trimmer and truck driver.  He attended Pleasant Rock Church and was preceded in death by his parents; wives Shelia Smith & Rachel Poole and daughter Michelle Poole. Stepchildren; Randell Sublett, Sr., Jenny Kay Russ, Ricky Sublett

He is survived by his children Marilyn Jett and Tammy Deel both of Morgantown; grandchildren Cody Jett, Madison Daugherty and Mason Daugherty, Zachary Ethan Phelps and Jacob Tyler Phelps all of Morgantown. Stepchildren; Elaine Casey, Teddy Sublett (Doris), Mary Cannon, John Sublett, Richard Sublett (Leslie), Sherry Key and Tommy Smith all of Morgantown. Many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at Hill Haven Memory Gardens on Tuesday, Oct 10, 2023 at 2:00pm with Bro. JB Miller officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 9 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
