Carl "Jason" Martin

Carl “Jason” Martin, age 49, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024. He was born in Warren Co., KY on Jan. 19, 1975.   He was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and professed his faith at five years of age.  Jason graduated from the BCHS Class of 1993.  He enjoyed playing all sports.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother Della Hunt and his great grandmother Mattie Hunt; step-father Eddie Runfola.

Jason is survived by his children Brooklyn Anderson (Baylee) and Braiden Martin; mother Dian Runfola; father Carl Martin; sisters Felicia Wells (Shane) and Cari Jo Stahl (A.J.); nieces and nephew Mattie, Lydia, Reed and Emersyn and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. TJ Howard and Shane Wells officiating.  Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and Monday, Oct. 28 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
