Cecil Taylor McKinney

Cecil Taylor McKinney, 84, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.  He was born in Quality, Ky. on May 28, 1938 to the late Lonzo McKinney and Zelma Bowers Belcher.  Cecil was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and piddling.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Juanita McCoy McKinney; brother Jimmy McKinney; sister Erdine Glass.

He is survived by his son Randall McKinney (Gennie) of Morgantown; grandchildren Madilyn Dowell (River) and Lindel McKinney (fiance’ Chloe Jenkins); sisters Wanda Phelps (Cletus), Elaine Harper and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Hampton officiating.  Burial will be held in the Caney Fork Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 2 from 9:30am-2pm at Smith Funeral Home.
