Charlie William Bratcher

Charlie William Bratcher, age 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on Nov. 7, 1953 in Edmonson Co., Ky. to the late James Millard Bratcher and Herthel Lee Vincent Bratcher.  Charlie was a former employee of Tomes Building Supply, Walmart and Foodland.  He loved to sit at the Farm Boy Restaurant and drink coffee and loved to fish.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Carolyn Moon and Betty Whittinghill; brothers James Donald Hampton and Ricky Bratcher.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mildred Miller Bratcher of Morgantown; siblings Bobby Bratcher of Bowling Green, Dale Bratcher of Morgantown and Becky Winchester of Park City; many nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at 2:00pm with Bro. Donald Crousore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Edmonson Co. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 28 from 10:30am until 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
