Chester Ray Pendley

Chester Ray Pendley, 86, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 2, 1934 to the late Edgar and Golden Engler Pendley.  Chester was retired from the United States Air Force and the Green River Boys Camp where he was the business manager.  His favorite past time was farming.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary Ann Pendley and brother Justice Pendley.

Chester is survived by his son Mike Pendley (Pam) of Morgantown; grandchildren Christopher Pendley (Jennifer) and Samantha Pendley both of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the directives concerning large gatherings, we are abiding by rules set forth by the Governor of Kentucky concerning the health and well being of our staff and the families we serve.  All services are private and under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
