Christopher "CJ" James Neighbors

Christopher “CJ” James Neighbors, age 36, of Elkton, Ky. passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Bowling Green, Ky. on May 21, 1987.  He was an Army Veteran and an electrician for Carpenter’s Company in Russellville, Ky.  CJ's hobbies included bow fishing, playing video games and relaxing at home with his family.  He was preceded in death by his Mammy Cordie Johnson and his Grandmother Regenia Skirvin, Grandfather James Jim Johnson and an infant child Sage Neighbors; uncles Robert "Bubby: Johnson, James "Buzz" Johnson and John Johnson; cousin Anthony Johnson.

CJ is survived by his wife Desiree Young; children Bexley Young, Ella Beatty and Madison Neighbors; father Christopher Neighbors; mother Angela Johnson Neighbors; sisters Haylee Morgan and Sarah Eaton; brother Chad Neighbors; Papaw Allen Neighbors; aunts Jennifer Neighbors, Jennifer Johnson, Sam Morris and Ella Johnson; uncles Rob Neighbors and Jeffrey Johnson and several cousins, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 5pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12 from 12pm until 5pm at Smith Funeral Home.
