Connie Gwynne (Hammers) Jones

Connie Gwynne Hammers Jones, age 67, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  She was born on March 17, 1957 in Greenville, KY.  Connie was of the Baptist faith and a director of the Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  She enjoyed sewing, flowers, gardening, rock hunting, reading, cooking and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Jones and her fur babies Sasha and Lucy.

Connie is survived by her son Chris Garner (Lynn); grandchildren Hannah Garner, Destiny Gwynne Garner, Jacob Garner (Hannah), Brennan Garner; great grandchildren Paisley and Briley Ramsey, Elena and Xavier Garner; parents Ronnie and Geneva Peay Hammers; sisters Carol Southerland (Jr.), Susanne Posey (David); brother Mike Hammers (Jana); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 at 5:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Toby White officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
