Cynthia Fugate

Cynthia Diane McCoy Fugate, age 55, of Birmingham, Al. passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the University of Alabama Hospital.  She was born on August 9, 1967 to late Perry Riggins McCoy and Barbara Ann Shaw McCoy. She was a retired legal secretary and loved to take care of her family and home. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father.

Cynthia is survived by her husband Jim Fugate of Birmingham, Al.;  children Christopher Smith (Margaret), Richard Smith (Esther), Jeffery Smith (Rachel), Charles Smith, Katelyn Fugate and Jacob Fugate; grandchildren Amelia, Cecilia, Oliver, Sloane, Heidi and Blair Smith, Cash, Case, Charlotte (Charlie), Colson (Cole) Robertson;  brother; Ricky McCoy (Janet); sister; Laura Eubanks (Marty); three sisters-in-law Tereasa Johnson (Wally), Brenda Gill and Lisa Wilson (Jamie); several nieces, nephews and, great nieces and nephews 

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 1pm. Visitation will be held Friday from 3pm until 9pm. Saturday,10am until time of service. Burial at the Webster cemetery.
