Daniel E. McLean

Daniel E. McLean, age 58, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.  He was a drywall hanger and a member of Barnett’s Lick Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, collecting coins, model cars, arrowheads and was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents Mac and JoAnn Bennett McLean; several brothers and a sister.

Daniel is survived by his wife Lola Tipton McLean; son Luther Tipton (Whitney); grandchildren Vidalia and Lilly Tipton; brothers Doug McLean and Kevin Vertress; sisters Diana Loving and Cindy Wright; fur baby Bull; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Embry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Satterfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Wednesday from 9:00am until 1:00pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, KY  42261.
