Darrell Wayne Belcher, 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Darrell was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 26, 1949 to the late Talmage Waymen  and Lula Logsdon Belcher.  He was a minister for over 40 years and retired from Echols Baptist Church in Ohio Co.   He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Maria.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Belcher of Morgantown; daughters Renee Justis (Luke) Morgantown, Kim Akers of Morgantown and Becky Bush (Jeremy) of Morgantown; grandchildren Cameron Rogers, Lyndsey Embry (Trapper), Nicholas Phelps, Jonah, Isabella and Gabriel Akers and Sydney Justis; great grandbabies  Tate Embry and Oliver Justis all of Morgantown; brother Douglas Belcher (Judy) of Morgantown and “Special” brother Rodney Johnson (Rita) and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home
