Darrell Glenn "Porky" Kessinger

Darrell Glenn Kessinger, age 66, of Jetson, Ky. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Ky.  He was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. on Sept. 28, 1957.  He was a drywall contractor and loved to fish, ride motorcycles and taking care of his animals.  He was preceded in death by his father Joy D. Kessinger and mother Wanda Blanten. Brother David Kessinger; grandmother Nokie Kessinger and grandfather Joe Cleveland Kessinger.

Darrell is survived by one daughter Jamica Nalley (Thomas); granddaughter Hannah Nalley; grandson Tyler West; brother Steven Kessinger (Jen) and sister Mechelle Kessinger. Nephews; Kyle and Marcus Kessinger, Garrett Kessinger (Brooklynn), Dillon Kessinger (Natalie).  Nieces; Kayla McKinney (Brian) and Payton Parrish (Seth). Stepmother Thelma Mae Webster Kessinger. Several great nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, Ky.  42261.
