David J. Dunn

David J. Dunn, age 83, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024.  He was born in Morgantown, KY on Dec. 17, 1940.  David was a co-owner of Dunn and Sons Garage and a welder.  He loved to fish, hunt, cook, spend time with his family and was very artistic.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lucille Arnold Dunn; sisters Maye Phelps and Rachel Poole; brothers Laynes, Glen and Ernie Dunn.

David is survived by his brothers Clemmie Dunn, Roger Dunn, Larry Dunn (Fordia) and Joe Dunn (Lottie); sister-in-law Martha Dunn; several nieces and nephews and his fur baby, Lucky.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Raleigh Blancett and Bro. Wayne Russ officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
