David Hendricks West

David Hendricks West, 80, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Providence, Ky. to the late John and Letha Stewart West.  He was a carpenter for Coleman Homes, a Coal Tipple Operator and worked at Tomes Building Supply for several years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, driving the back roads of Butler Co., was an avid coffee drinker and loved spending time with his granddaughter, Courtney.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Willard, Glendel and John Douglas West; sister in law Margaret Mason.

David is survived by his wife of 58 years Barbara Mason West of Morgantown; children Paula Lee (Gary) and Kimberly Kay Embry (Johnny) both of Morgantown; granddaughter Letha Courtney Embry of Morgantown; brother in law James Mason of Princeton, In.; sister in laws Sharon Meier (Brett), Mary Ann Tate and Shirley Schmittler (Wally) all of Princeton, In.; his beloved dog Miley and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Burial will be held for immediate family.
