Delania Dawn (Payton) Herrera

Delania Dawn Payton Herrera, age 23, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Henderson, Ky. She was born in Hartford on May 16, 1998. Delania worked in manufacturing, loved arts and crafts. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her children. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joy Payton, Pauline Holland and Roy Williams, Charles Inklebarger and her nieces, Kynlee Varble and Amelia Payton.

Delania is survived by her children, Jiael Herrera and Mila Martinez; parents, John Payton (Sarah) of Morgantown; Elisha Williams of Florida; Grandmother Barbara Cauley of Florida; siblings, Lacy Varble(David) of Morgantown; Brittany Payton of Owensboro; John Payton (Angel) of Morgantown; Katelyn Stewart of McHenry;  Elizabeth Stewart of Morgantown; Brooklyn Wallace (Nick) of Hartford, Isabella Johnson of Fl; many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday Nov. 4 at 12pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Swift officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 4pm until 8pm and Thursday 9am until time of Service at Smith Funeral Home.
