Dolores Ann (Hatcher) Martinez passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2021 in Boca Raton, FL. She was born in Morgantown, KY on May 13, 1937, daughter of the late William Dudley and Ruby Dee (Moore) Hatcher. She graduated from Butler Co. High School, Class of 1955, and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She had a successful career in bank accounting and loved traveling, reading, working in her yard, taking care of her many plants and spending time with her husband and family. She also thoroughly enjoyed couponing as a hobby. She was so knowledgeable and experienced in this, that she could easily have the retailer paying her to purchase their products. Since 2014, she was a very active volunteer, along with her husband, at the Boca Raton Public Library. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Kentucky Colonels and 4-H.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Victor, of Boca Raton FL, her brother, D. Wayne Hatcher (Mary) of Morgantown KY, her daughter, Suzanne Colvin, her grand-daughter, Christa Breaux (Jeff), two great-granddaughters, Madeline and Mila, all of Texas, and her nephew D.W. Hatcher (Lisa), 3 great-nephews, and one great-niece, of Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library, her favorite non-profit organization, at 400 NW 2nd Ave., Boca Raton FL 33432.
