Donald Wayne Smith

Donald Wayne Smith, age 82, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on May 15, 1940 to the late William Riley and Dorothy Dye Smith.  Donald retired from the State Highway Dept. and loved to rabbit hunt with his beagles.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Donald is survived by his children Matthew Wayne Smith of Madisonville, Ky., Mark Lane Smith of Bowling Green, Ky., Michael Lee Smith (Hieu Doan) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Melinda Suzanne Smith of Bowling Green, Ky.; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022 from 11am until 8pm at Smith Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be held at the Cook Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 26 at 1pm with Bro. Nicholas Greenman officiating.
