Edward Keown Sr., 82, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 in Greenwood, In.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on May 27, 1938 to the late Luchen and Mable Hawks Keown.  Edward retired from the Chrysler Corporation and enjoyed fishing.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Bertha Smith Keown; children Cindy Baskett and Mavis Miller; siblings Jimmy Keown, Glendale Keown, Nokie Pearl West, Dorothy Pendley, Lois Bratcher, Norma Jean Butler and JoAnn Carter.            

He is survived by his children Edward Keown Jr., Melody Danford and Linda Agerter (John); siblings Luchen Keown Jr. (Judy), Delah Luttrell and Larry D. Keown; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Murl Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fannie Rone Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
