Edward T. Farris, 85, of Ohio Co., Ky. passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born on March 1, 1934 to the late John Calvin and Elsie Mae Burden Farris. He was member of Aberdeen Baptist Church and retired from TVA, as a millwright. Ed was a member of the Cassia Masonic Lodge #272 and loved to fish and hunt. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Reathel Farris.
He is survived by son John T. Farris (Olivia) of Bowling Green; daughter Lisa Farris Milburn (Matt) of Bowling Green; stepdaughter Terri Evans (Terry) of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren Destiny Parker (Gage) of Beaver Dam, Jackson Milburn, Ethan Farris and Georgia Rose all of Bowling Green; brother Hillard Farris of Louisville; sister Jean Guffy of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 26 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Aberdeen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25 from 4:30-8pm with a Masonic service at 7pm and Monday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
