Estelle (Henderson) Embry

Estelle Henderson Embry, age 93, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  She was born on Sept. 6, 1930 in Flener, Ky.  She was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church, loved spending time with her family and talking on the phone.  She was preceded in death by her parents John C. Sr. and Roxie Phelps Henderson; husband Elmer Embry; infant son Donald Embry; brother Jr. Henderson; infant sister Sophia Henderson; sister-in-law Lucille Henderson Daugherty; sons-in-law David Hall and Jerry Martin.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Martin and son Richard Embry; grandchildren Rachel Chancy (Roger), Meredith Hall (Eddie), Nathan Embry, Madison Via (Taylor), Drake Embry (Paige), John Martin, James Martin (Levona); great grandchildren Simone Rahme, Henry Via, Sofia, Jazlyn, Morgan, Jace and Jocey Martin; several nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Floki.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at 1:00pm with Bro. Brian Jones and Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.  Burial will be held in the Aberdeen Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 22 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
