Floyd Glen Moore

Floyd Glen Moore, age 72, of Henderson, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.  He was born in Henderson, KY on July 15, 1953.  Floyd was a retired maintenance worker.  He loved listening to Elvis Presley music and was always making his family laugh.  Floyd enjoyed horse racing and playing the slots.  He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Ervil Inell Jenkins Moore and his son Jeremy Moore.

He is survived by his son Tracy Moore; daughter Angela Moore Shouse; granddaughters Nikki Shouse and Megan Moore; brothers Curtis Moore (Janice), Charles Moore (Amy); sisters Ervil Coots, Ruth Kitchens (Jerry), Becky Gardner (Bill), Joann Kuhlenschmidt (Rodney) and many nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Hernan Rodriguez officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date in the Caney Fork Cemetery in Quality, KY.
