Gary Lee Obituary

Gary Wayne Lee, 55, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Nov. 11, 1964 to the late Cloy "Stoker" and Ruby Garner Lee.  Gary was a licensed Master Electrician and General Electrical Contractor, he was really proud of his degree.  He worked for several years at Addwest Mining and enjoyed fishing and being outside.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Phillip, Donnie and Ronnie "Cotton" Lee; sisters Suzie Williams and Marilyn Clark.

 

Gary is survived by his wife of 36 years Paula Lee of Morgantown; brother David Lee (Cindy) of Morgantown; brothers in law Tommy Williams and Thomas Clark and sisters in law Elizabeth Lee and Kim Embry (Johnny); mother in law Barbara West and several nieces and nephews.

 

Due to the directives concerning large gatherings, we are abiding by rules set forth by the Governor of Kentucky concerning the health and well being of our staff and the families we serve.  A drive thru visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16 from 1-1:30pm at Sandy Creek Cemetery in Morgantown with private burial to follow.  Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
