Geneva Michelle Cardwell

Geneva Michelle Cardwell, age 13, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.  She was born on July 28, 2010 in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was a 7th grader at Butler Co. Middle School and a member of Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church.  Geneva enjoyed taking care of animals, running cross country track, fishing and anything outdoors.  She was preceded in death by her daddy Jeremiah Cardwell; great grandparents Bud and Sue Phelps; uncle Randy Phelps. 

She is survived by her mom and dad Cindy and James Russell; brothers Nehemiah and Zebekiah Cardwell; step-sisters Kaitlyn Cardwell and Heather Alvey; step-brother Dolton Russell; niece Bella Alvey; grandparents Cindy Renfrow and Tony Phelps; great-aunt Tammy Suggs (Kevin); two uncles Jason Phelps and Austin Phelps; cousins Zach Phelps (Heather), Jake Phelps, Lilly Suggs, Hannah Suggs and Scarlett Phelps; boyfriend Levi Findley.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Cox officiating.  Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm and Saturday, Feb. 3 from 9:00am until 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, Ky.  42261.
