Gerald Dwayne Morse

Gerald Dwayne Morse, age 65, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021 at his residence in Morgantown, Ky.  He was born in Tupelo, Miss. on March 15, 1956  to the late Claude Morse Jr. and Elaine Forsthye Morse.   Gerald was on the 1973 Kentucky All State Football team.  He received a Master’s Degree in business administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in industrial technology.  He worked in the Health Safety Management sector of the oil and gas industry and enjoyed golf and watching sports.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Gerald is survived by children Nathaniel Baylen Morse of Louisiana; daughter Jacqueline Breann Morse of Louisiana; grandchildren Rylie Ann Morse of Louisiana; sister Pam Wallace of Morgantown; niece Chelsea Layne Young of Chicago; nephew Eric Dwayne Wallace of Cave City, Ky. and relentless ex-wife Aileen Comeaux Morse of Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11 from 2pm to 8pm at Smith Funeral Home.
