Gloria E. Williams Jernigan

Gloria E. Williams Jernigan, age72, of Cromwell, KY passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 at the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab Center.  She was born on Nov. 23, 1952 in Owensboro, KY.  Gloria was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, art and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her former husband Ronald Southard; mother Ora Ethel Bartley Brown; sister Patricia Wiggins and Betty Sue Roof; son-in-law Steve Merideth.

Gloria is survived by her husband Eddie Jernigan; children James Taylor (Sherri), David Taylor (Sheri); Rhonda Merideth; grandchildren Ashley Merideth, Alisa, James, Dennis, Silas, Edward, Jessica and Jacob Taylor; 8 great grandchildren; siblings Michael Williams (Christy), Leonard Brown (Eunice), Anna Hardesty (Dennis), Susie Stewart, Forest Taylor, Emmit Brown, Joe Brown and David Brown (Amanda); multiple nieces and nephews.

A private service for family will be held at a later date.  Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
