Gloria Jean (Proctor) Young

Gloria Jean Young, 75 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  She was born on February 26, 1944 to the late Waldo and Glodean Hester Proctor.  Gloria worked at Kellwood Manufacturing and loved to be in the garden working with her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Johnnie Lee Young.

Gloria is survived by one daughter Della Hudnall (Marty) of Russellville;  son Johnnie Lee Young, Jr. of Bowling Green; four grandchildren Hannah and Holden Hudnall of Russellville, Audra McKenzie Carver of Lake Malone and Madison Lane Collins of Russellville; step siblings Tim Hester (Karen) of Hillsboro, Mo., Tammy House (Mike) of Hopkinsville and Tina Howard (Eddie) of Owensboro.  

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Grove Cemetery in Muhlenburg Co. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30pm-8pm and Wednesday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
