James Newton Glover
Obituary
James Newton Glover, age 75, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born on July 22, 1948 in Cromwell, Ky. James was the owner/mechanic of Glover’s Speedway Performance in Clearwater, Fl. He enjoyed fishing and auto racing. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Mildred Baxter Glover; first wife Gayle Neace Glover; brothers Bobby Glover and Danny Glover.
He is survived by his wife Linda Belcher Glover; daughter Amanda Glover and husband Charles Eddings; step-daughters Theresa Bell and Jennifer Belcher; grandchildren Sarah Belcher, Ashley Bell and Sally Cox; great grandchildren Phil, Lilly, Lola, Henry and Evvy; sister Brenda Glover; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home at 2pm on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 with Bro. Greg Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Knob Cemetery in Falls of Rough, Ky. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 5pm until 8pm and Sunday from 12pm until 2pm at Smith Funeral Home.
