James "Jamie" Dotson Obituary

James “Jamie” Dotson, 55, of Bowling Green, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on October 9, 1964 to the late David Dotson and Sharon Dotson, who survives.  Jamie owned Angel-Bear Antiques and Market with his wife.  He enjoyed UK Basketball, woodworking, shopping for antiques, and playing video games. He was preceded in death by his father David Dotson and sister Penny Wester.

 

He is survived by his wife Margie Dotson; children Benjamin Dotson, Lucas Dotson, James Miller, Justin Miller (Amanda) and Summer Dwyer; 3 grandchildren; mother Sharon Dotson; brother Allen Dotson (Tammy); nieces and nephews Beth Smith (Chris), Danny Wester, Chadd Wester, Thadd Dotson (Morgan) and Maggie Dotson and lots of great nieces and nephews.  

 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Neilson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin on Friday, Sept. 11 from 5-8pm and Saturday, Sept. 12 from 11am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
