Jo Karen Bratcher

Jo Karen Baucum Bratcher, age 58, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  She was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. on Aug. 31, 1963.  Jo Karen was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and was a Homemaker.  She worked at Sumitomo for 14 years and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family and her grandbabies.  She is preceded in death by her father Bill Baucum; husband Artie Wayne Bratcher; son Scott Bratcher; father and mother-in-law Artie and Polly Bratcher.

Jo Karen is survived by her children Joey Summers (Jaime), Angeline Mullen (Donnie) and Charity Flener (Chris); grandchildren Alex, Michelle and Ethan Cardwell and Everly Mullen; mother Mildred Basham; sisters Melissa Hagan and Theresa Cardwell (Randall); brothers Alvin Basham and Archie Baucum (Becky); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Oct. 25 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. David Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgeview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 24 from 5pm to 8pm and Monday from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
