John Doe McDaniel

John Doe McDaniel, 61, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at McDowell and Peak Hospital in Danville, Ky.  He was born in Louisville, Ky. on August 3, 1959  to the late Jim and Anna Josephine Alcorn McDaniel.  John was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church and worked on small machinery and race cars.     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cindy Hicks McDaniel; son Johnathon McDaniel; daughter Josephine McDaniel; brothers Robert, Jimmy and Billy McDaniel; and one sister Lori Chenault.  

 John is survived by three daughters  Amanda White (Jeremy) of Morgantown, Anna Milam (Josh) of Morgantown, Samantha Milam of Morgantown; several grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers Donald McDaniel of Morgantown, Andy McDaniel (Laura) of South Bend, Indiana; sisters  Donna Taylor (Milton) of Morgantown, Charlotte Henderson of  Morgantown, Zina Taylor (Johnny) of  Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 12pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Leach officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wade Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15 from  4:30-8pm and Tuesday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
