Joseph Wayne Lykins

Joseph Wayne Lykins, age 37, of Butler Co., KY, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026.  He was born in Nashville, TN on Oct. 2, 1988.  Joseph was of the Baptist faith.  He loved the Lord, his family, especially his mother and listening to music.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Betty and Donald Guffy, Wayne Lykins; paternal step-grandparents Joe and Novice Johnson and his step-father Bobby J. Johnson.

He is survived by his mother Shannon Daugherty Lykins Johnson; his father Anthony Lykins; brothers Adam Lykins (Brooke) and Dylan Lykins; sisters Tiffany Johnson (Doug) and Holly Lykins; grandparents Joe and Joyce Daugherty; aunt Amy Mode; uncle’s Kenny Lykins (Freida) and Jonathan Lykins (BJ); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 22 at 2:00pm at Ridgeview Cemetery in Morgantown, KY.  Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, KY  42261.
