Joy F. (McPherson) Blaine

Joy F. Blaine, 89, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Feb. 15, 1930 to the late Claude and Lorelle McPherson. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Southside Church of Christ in Owensboro, Ky. She loved to piddle, listen to music and entertain family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lyle W. Blaine; sisters Wanda Valjean Porter, Sylvia Dean Ferrell and an infant sister.   

Joy is survived by her son Kevin Blaine (Mary) of Huntsville, Ky.; three grandchildren Kevin Tyler Blaine (Alex) of Bowling Green, Ky., Morgan L. Blaine of  Bowling Green Ky., Joshua T. Blaine of Claremore, Ok.; great grandchildren Bryce, Madison and Emery Joy Blaine all of Bowling Green, Ky.; sister Vernita Goodall (Charles) of  Florida; two brothers Bobby McPherson (Doris) of Morgantown and Kenny McPherson of Huntsville.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, January 31 from 4-8pm and Saturday 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
