Judy Lane (Meredith) Hunt

Judy Lane Meredith Hunt, 77, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 13, 1943 to the late Noatley and Erdine Kincade Meredith.  Judy was the wife of the late Donald Hunt.  She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and actively taught at Belmont Christian Academy for 25 years.  She loved her church, family and riding motorcycles with Donald.  Judy is preceded in death by her parents; son Timmy Porter; stepson Mike Hunt; brother Gillis Meredith.

She is survived by her children Joey Porter of Lexington, Ky., Chuck Porter of Morgantown, Scott Gaskey of Cromwell, Ky., Jimmy Gaskey and Dennis Hunt both of Morgantown; step children Lisa Nicewinter and Laura Oliver of Morgantown, Donald Wayne Hunt of Bowling Green, Timmy Hunt of Beaver Dam, Ky.; two brothers Harold and Phillip Meredith both of Morgantown; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 2pm at Belmont General Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Brooks and Bro. T.J. Howard officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Belmont General Baptist Church from 10am til time of service.  Burial will follow at the Belmont Cemetery.  Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Everyone must wear a mask and social distancing is required.  No outside food or drink may be brought in.
