Julie Young Obituary

Julie Clark Young, age 75, of Bowling Green, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 surrounded by her family. Julie was born in Butler Co., KY on May 30, 1950.  She was a former Deputy Jailer at the Warren Co. Jail and was also the owner of A-1 Cleaning Service.  Julie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Newton Clark and Alice Crenshaw; brothers Ronnie Clark and his wife Debbie, Randy Clark; her sisters Judy Clark and Virginia “Ginny” West.

 

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Philip Young; children Penni Worley (Bryan), Doug West, Donna Porter, Bruce West, Brandi West (Elizabeth Moran); step-children Kris Young (Melinda), Kalen Young (MacKenzie), Kolby Young (Brittney); grandchildren Alex, Paige, Nick, Dustin and Brooke; step-grandchildren Keeghan, Emmah, Savannah, Drake, Briggs, Addie, Marjorie and Caroline; five great-grandchildren; brothers Jessie Clark (Wendy) and Marty Crenshaw (Robin); sisters Kitty Clark and Shawna Crenshaw; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky via the website:   https://hospicesoky.org

 

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Fanny Rone Cemetery with Bro. Joe Causey officiating.  We will leave in procession from Smith Funeral Home at 11:15am.
