Kevin D. Gidcumb

Kevin D. Gidcumb, age 48, passed away on Oct. 12, 2024.  He was born in Bowling Green, KY on Sept. 30, 1976.  Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Gidcumb; aunt Patsy Renfrow; uncles Gorman Gidcumb, Garrett Gidcumb and Tony Konstanty.

Kevin spent most of his life farming on his dad’s lands and shops.  He was an individual who found solace in nature and a passion for family and friends.  After the recent tornado, which took a deep swoop into his area, he volunteered for the Red Cross.

Kevin is the son of Larry Gidcumb; daughters Kealee Gidcumb and Macaylah Dawn Gidcumb; partner Amanda Gouy and her children Kamree Gouy and Kendall Barnes; brother Larry Dale Gidcumb (partner Jamye Barlow); sisters Kristy Reynolds (Kenney) and Gloria Johnson (Shawn); uncles and aunts Delores Johnson (Bobby), Marilyn Konstanty, Barbara Roark (Ray), Becky Rigsby (Ronald), Brenda Willoughby, Larry Warden, Daniel Gidcumb, Teresa C. Carman and Gordon Gidcumb; nieces Maelynn Bilicki and Rebecca Gidcumb. nephews Jeffrey Davidson and great nephew Wyatt Holt.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home.
