Larry Jones Obituary
Larry Ray Jones, 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on April 9, 1949 to the late Ray A. and Elizabeth Phelps Jones. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, he served from 1966-1986 and was a member of the 1/37th Armor Alumni. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Larry loved motorcycles, old cars and trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Brenda Jones; brothers Douglas Jones and Ronnie Jones.
Larry is survived by his two children Martina Jones of El Paso Tx, Jr. Jones of Morgantown and Sandra Jones of Bowling Green; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister Jennifer Odle (Carson); two brothers Timmy Jones (Vickie) and Johnnie Jones (Joan) all of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 29 at 11am in the Grant Phelps Cemetery, Morgantown, Ky.Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
