Latnie E. Geary

Latnie E. Geary, 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at the Heartford House Hospice of Western Kentucky.  He was born in Welchs Creek, Ky. on Feb. 6, 1937 to the late Elic and Etta Embry Geary.  Latnie was a farmer and retired from General Electric.  He loved taking care of his cattle and gardening.  Latnie will be fondly remembered by his knee slapping laugh and smile.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Delphie Geary and Vivia Casey; brother Vernie Geary and nephew Jerry Casey.              

He is survived by his nieces and nephew Brenda Geary Smith, Paula Geary Rogers and James Casey; very special friend and dear to his heart, Patsy Brown and her family; special neighbor and friend Emmanuel Embry.

A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.  Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn.  38105.
