Linda Jo (Kelley) Givens

Linda Jo Givens, 83, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Aug. 18, 1937 to the late Joseph H. and Martha Burch Kelley.  She was a member of the Morgantown First United Methodist Church and was a Project Manager in Engineering and Construction.  Linda enjoyed singing, traveling, acting and being with her family.   She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Cathy Cook.

She is survived by her children Kyllie Doughty (Tim) of Woodbury and Joey Givens (Debbie) of Morgantown; grandchildren Ryan Doughty (Andrea) of Newport, Ky., Chad Doughty (Marlena) of Morgantown and Laura Doughty Wilson (Billy) of Morgantown; six great grandchildren Hannah, Dean, Wyatt and Melody Doughty, Wade Wilson and Veo Doughty; two nieces; a great niece; two great nephews; two great great nephews and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 14 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Neilson and Bro. Greg Wallace officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Haven Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 5pm-8pm and Sunday from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.

Everyone must wear a mask and social distancing is required.  No outside food or drink may be brought in.
