Louise Layne Graham, 93, of Rochester, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Goldvein, Va. on Feb. 10, 1926 to the late Lorenzo T. and
Annie Curtis Harding. She was a homemaker and a member of Rochester United Methodist Church. Louise enjoyed dancing, traveling, quilting, crocheting, knitting and singing in the choir. Louise enjoyed having her grandson Justin live with her and take care of her, they enjoyed many trips together. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Maurice Hall Jr., husband James E. Layne, husband Leon O. Graham; daughter Connie Hall Darnell and grandson Craig Givens; eight brothers and sisters.
Louise is survived by her children Shirley Hunt and husband Gary of Morgantown, Jimmy L. Layne of Morgantown, Deniece Hawkins and husband Gerald of Rochester, Gina Shoemake and husband Joe of Rockfield; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 11am at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Bryan and Bro. Chuck McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 11 from 4-8pm and Wednesday from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
