Margie Dean (Andrews) Givens

Margie Dean Andrews Givens, age 87, of Quality, KY passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  Margie Dean was born in Butler Co., KY on Dec. 23, 1937.  She professed in Christ at an early age and later became a member of Bethel Baptist Church.  Margie Dean worked at Kane’s Industries for almost 38 years until they closed.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Neal Givens; parents Richard and Novie Gill Andrews; sister Dollie Andrews Givens; sisters-in- law Erline Givens Grubb, Virginia “Jenny” Givens Haas; brothers-in-law Carl Grubb, Edwin Givens, Charles “Buck” Givens; special cousin who was like a brother, Harold Gill; aunts Marie Rayhill, Pearl Andrews, Bernice B. Gill and Exie Andrews; the love of her life, her fur baby, Snowy.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Givens; special cousin who was like a sister, Alice Gill; nephews Roger Wayne Brown, Mike, Terry and Scottie Grubb and Tony Givens; nieces Linda Abbott, Donna Grubb, Brenda Thomson, Tina Hudnall; great nephews Coty and Matt Hudnall, Dakota and Tyler Givens; great niece Kristen Givens; step great niece Keesha Wright; step great nephew Josh DeBerry; lots of cousins and relatives, friends and good neighbors.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Murl Gray and Bro. Jimmy McIntosh officiating.   Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home.
