Martha E. (Gay) Gilmore

Martha Eileen Gilmore, age 64, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Hospice House of Southern KY, in Bowling Green.  She was born in Muhlenberg Co., KY on September 25, 1961 to James and Linda Morris Gay. Martha was of the Baptist faith and worked many years as a self-employed cleaner. She loved animals, hummingbirds and loved to cook. Martha was preceded in death by her parents. 

Martha is survived by her children  Renee’ Seaton, Curtis Seaton and Ben Gilmore; grandchildren Kendall Seaton Maggard (Houston), Olivia Hall, Jacee Reed; great-grandchild Walker Maggard; brothers LaMar Morris (Phillis) and Jerry Morris (Janea).

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Cox officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:00am until time of funeral at Smith Funeral Home.
