Martin Glen Cohron, age 68, of the Sharer, KY community, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born in Bowling Green, KY on September 29, 1957. After graduating from WKU in 1979, he went on to a diverse career in farming, sales, and research & development. He was a Research Support Coordinator at WKU for 19 years and was known for his dedication and diligence. He enjoyed working with his son, Craig, managing the family farm and working in the shop with his grandsons. He could fix anything and build anything. His passion was accomplishing tasks that others said were impossible. He loved his family and worked hard. He was a generous person who shared his resources, talent, and time with others. He served his church as an elder at Mars Hill Church of Christ where he worshiped the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents Carson and Marvene Cohron.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rhonda Huff Cohron; children Craig Cohron (Tina) and Gabrielle Hunt (Matt); his grandchildren Evan, Ian, and Nathan Hunt; his brother Van Cohron (Laura); nieces and nephew; and many cousins and friends across the world.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1:00pm at Mars Hill Church of Christ with Bro. Bruce Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday, from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Mars Hill Church of Christ, 4136 Jackson Bridge Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101. Burial will follow in Tuck Cemetery.
