Mary Lou Hampton

Mary Lou Hampton, age 82, of Rochester, Ky. passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Muhlenberg County Hospital.  She was born in Todd Co., Ky. on Nov. 24, 1939 to the late Frank and Margaret Butler Hampton .  Mary was a member of the Drakesboro Church of Christ and was self employed.  Mary loved antiques, loved her dogs and enjoyed nature. She is preceded in death by her parents and  brother Tommy Hampton.

Mary is survived by her children Christopher Higgins of Gatlinburg, Tn.,  Eddie McPherson of Rochester, Jay McPherson of Rochester, Michael McPherson (Maggie) of Morgantown; daughter Lydia Meredith (Hank) of Browder, Ky.; grandson Milo McPherson of Morgantown; life companion Dennis McPherson of Rochester.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Sept 5, 2022 at 2pm at the Rochester Cemetery in Butler Co. with Bro. Kirby Duncan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
