Mary Ann (Cook) Pendley

Mary Ann Cook Pendley, 82, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on  Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Greenview Regional Hospital.  She was born in Muhlenberg County on December 18, 1935  to the late Sherman Ray and Louise Bowers Cook.  Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, bowling and cooking.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sue Cook; two sisters in law Elisabeth Lucille Cook and Pearl Cook; special caregiver Lisa Latham of Logan Co.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 65 years Chester Pendley of Morgantown;  son Mike Pendley (Pam) of Morgantown; two grandchildren Christopher Michael Pendley (Jennifer) Morgantown and Samantha Pendley of Morgantown; two brothers Larry Cook (Melva) of Muhlenberg County and Jerry Cook of Muhlenberg County.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 1pm with Rev. Doug Boyles officiating.   Burial will follow in the Rochester  Cemetery.  Visitation will begin on  Monday, October 1, 2018 from 6:30 pm until 8 pm and Tuesday from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
