Nora Wendle Williams, age 53, of Central City, KY passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Fairfield, IL on Mar. 13, 1971. Nora enjoyed every minute of her time with her grandkids and loved her children deeply. She was very grateful and thankful for God’s love and having her husband, Mike, sticking by her side with whatever life had to throw at them both, true love exists. Nora enjoyed swimming, gardening and spending time with her family. She was the strongest, kindest, most beautiful person that you would ever want to meet and be around and she will be missed dearly. Before her accident she worked as a CNA and health care provider for over 20 years, which she really enjoyed. She enjoyed helping people and still tried even after her accident. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Carolyn Blaine Wendle and her nephew Joshua Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Michael Williams; daughters Hannah Williams, Feleishaa McKinney and RayeAnn Hughes; granddaughters Caitlyn Vaughan and Nirvana Wendle; grandsons Ares McKinney and Samson Williams; sisters Vivian Brown and Lillian Wendle; brother Cleburne “Ed” Wendle; nieces Kalinda Wendle and Jennifer Brown; one nephew Benjamin Jordan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
